You and I share a lot in common, Gina. I still live in NY, on Long Island, specifically. I adore chocolate and Italian food. I've never been shot at, and I'm grateful for that. My son's birth wasn't easy, but he is the very best thing I've done in this world.

Considering my brain cells these days or rather, lack of them (due to 26 years of working with KIDS ) I find myself using terms such as "thingy" and "wajamacallit" and "whateveryournameis"....more frequently!
I've just mentally noted the word "Whackadoodle" and I'm giving you all fair warning, when I can't think of what it is I'm talking about...it might come out, whackadoodle.
For ex: "Honey, where's the, the...that whackadoodle thingamabob?"

The word "whackadoodle" is a good one to describe the times that one goes through in raising kids....lol........amongst other things in one's lifetime! I'll be back to "checkin" as I bookmarked your site as well. Again......congrats on the published books:) Way to go!
